- Spent hours trying to figure out how to get embedded fonts to actually show up in an ebook (on Amazon, but Draft2Digital seems to have the same problem). I’m embedding fonts in Word properly, and they look great in the paperback version of Arnesto Modesto, but can’t get them to stick otherwise. Posted in FB group, but starting to think it can’t be done.
- Published my other works to Draft2Digital (6 total). That includes Arnesto Modesto, for purposes of applying to BookBub (they like books that are for sale on many sites). Since Maltzie has a bunch of blank lines and these disappear in D2D for some reason, had to go in and replace them with not 1, but 2 soft-enters. Now there’s a big gap (and the next paragraph after isn’t indented at all, but since that’s how a lot of books work anyway), I’ll deal.
- Republished Arnesto Modesto on Amazon, updating the Other Works By and Coming Soon sections to match everything released since.
